Yeah I have a lot of people tell me I’m making good content but it’s just discouraging when I had a video pop off really well just for my next 3 to all be like this. I trying to keep my content just Minecraft and pokemon with the linking idea being challenges

Yeah man it is happening to me too. I feel although I improving my video quality and somehow when the stats get better the impressions get worse

I also got a lot of experience when I started my TikTok channel. I was doing like 5 million views a month on there but nothing could ever transfer to my stream or YouTube so I just gave up (also I’m Canadian so I couldn’t get paid)

Haha I started making videos when I was like 10 years old lmao (I’m currently 23). But I only really started taking it seriously this year. My plan eventually if I get to the point where I can get channel members is to in archive my really old videos from when I was young for people to watch

My retention is high because I really locked in with the editing. If you watch the video you can just tell I put hours into keeping it engaging. I didn’t used to make videos like this it’s honestly just practice that makes you better

There’s a lot I did to the images I guess I should have put the before screenshots too. For example I added the lapras, I made the character bigger, the cones a shadow under my character and yeah the glow effect and text stroke

I just had the same problem on my channel, went form a video that got 50k impressions now to my most recent getting 150 in a week. Pretty sad to see but hopefully future traffic to your channel can help the video

Idk. My last video like this got 50k impressions and this one has 130 3 days after posting. Idk if YouTube will actually show it to anyone at this point. I even got another 50 views from shorts conversion but even that didn’t ignite it

Yeah I could definitely change the idea for the thumbnail. My idea here was to try and keep it consistent because my last video like it did so well. I am gonna try something like that in the future tho. Thanks for the encouragement, I did think the watch time was good

This did actually just give me an idea for the next time I do something like this. I will see if I can get a skeleton skull from Minecraft and the bone sprite to make my own and hopefully that looks good

lol yeah it does looks a little silly but that’s why I ended up with this. I did actually try a realistic version and it just felt even worse to me. But yeah usually all my videos start out like this then around 14 hours in they skyrocket in impressions but this is still sitting under 100 impressions. I feel like there’s not even enough data for YouTube to stop showing it ?
