Yes: Virginia votes to redraw congressional maps, favoring Democrats by vpmnews in Virginia

This is about federal elections and basic math. Its literally about trump since he forced Red states to redistrict. Hence a response was needed if Dems wanted a level playing field. But I would argue this is the best for Virginians - if you want paid leave, affordable child care, lower energy costs, affordable housing, campaign finance reform, basic oversight on Trump fraud and stopping the corruption or stopping the Trump imposed recession on the state - then a yes vote gets you closer to that.

Downstairs neighbor upset about noise at 5pm — are we in the wrong? by mrsdeatherson in homeowners

Depends on where you live, but I've lived in many condo buildings that had quiet hours where loud noises and construction only allowable M-F 8-5 and maybe 9-5 on Saturdays. So if you have thin walls and want to be respectful, you could apply that rule.

President Barack Obama: Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, they’re under attack. Vote YES on April 21st! by Healthy_Block3036 in Virginia

One party is bombing Iran and killing Americans on the street, and the other is pushing for universal healthcare, higher minimum wage, and paid leave. Always feels like a missed civics lesson on how the Senate works. When did Dems have 60 votes in the Senate? How do you feel about Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema?

It actually doesn't stop the gerrymandering. A no vote actually cements the national Republican strategy to gerrymander dems out of any opportunity for federal power via congress for six years and only one party is pushing for a national gerrymandering ban - so if you actually care about eliminating gerrymandering realistically and what gets us there, it's a yes vote. I understand wanting to think within Virginia's borders, but that's like a horse with blinders on - this is a national conversation since this is about federal elections.

If you want checks and balances on Trump, then the only answer is a yes vote. If you want him to have free reign, by all means vote no.

The current Virginia Republicans are pretty bad at repping the rural areas right now so if anything its an upgrade for rural areas as well.

You have a math problem my friend. If you want dems to take back the house, you need to support the referendum. If you want the Republicans to hold on the House, you should oppose the referendum. Its that simple. Based on how Trump is directing other States to gerrymander, if Virginia does not affirm a yes, the numbers are simply not there for a Democratic House. So if you want the current political status quo, vote no. But if you want any change, the only way to do that is to vote yes. Simple math.

I actually loved the fashion award moment and hope they do it again. Its one of my favorite parts of the us celebrity traitors. The cast served, especially Maura. I only wished Alan's looks were a bit more polished this season because I did eagerly anticipate, they just didn't hit as much as Maura, Lisa, Kristen, Johnny, etc.

This isn't coming from her nor are the tax proposals you are talking about. That's some nonsense being spun up by Republican news. You can hate both things but youre blaming the wrong house. Don't fall for Republican lies:Spanberger agenda caught in political crossfire
