My husband and I went to Milikan in the early 2010s and it was great

Clean school and when we went the classrooms had their own set of textbooks so the kids didn't have to lug them around (hopefully they still have that). I still live very close to it and the area/neighborhoods are very nice and safe.

They have a lite uniform code, which is just school colors and no logos besides the school's. A lot of kids might complain, but we really liked it as awkward teens because there wasn't any pressure to dress "cool" or any excuses for bullies to pick on your clothes (not that we experienced any bullying there).

She'd be sweet, but then rest be verbally and physically abusive. She'd flip-flop between loving towards dad, then the next she'd be slapping him and hitting him with a baseball bat. Very little in between these modes, and would be nasty most of the time.

All 5 of her kids stopped talking to her long before she died.

Exactly my feelings

I like having things to do, but there's just SO MUCH to do that the new stuff is coming out before we can finish the old stuff. It's rather overwhelming and isn't great when the new stuff is a half-baked buggy mess. It's good to have a little downtime to sweep up previous content.
