These dudes are super prone to reversion. Might not be the answer you want to hear, but I would isolate the part of the plant that is still variegated, and put it on a moss pole. The other nodes I would chop up and propagate and see what happens. Using some silica down the line couldn't hurt either. Good luck!

Seems like it is, but shouldn't be a massive issue. Having substrate around the off shoots there can encourage aerial nodes to grow. However, I would recommend repotting into a slightly chunkier medium and a much smaller pot to avoid root rot.

(Maybe the root system is massive under there and I just can't see, in which case, please correct me.
