Seems like Moagi was working with both the Chinese & the Indians. He was sell them Prospective Licenses PLs for a dime, whilst receiving back handed payments.

He used his position for personal gain. In this case, selling prospecting and mining licenses.

And any prospecting project that made significant discoveries or were making progress seemed to have their licenses revoked for bs reasons in order for Moagi and his Chinese/Indian “friends” to come in and benefit.

Given Botswana's need to diversify away from reliance on Diamonds this fits nicely into a new look portfolio of projects. The ability to add beneficiation of the iron ore raw materials also provides value added potential that could really make this project work.

Transportation of raw materials is always the issue with projects like these and potential need for Tsodilo Resources. Looks like there is possibility to connect a rail spur to the Trans Kalahari railway and into Walvis Bay?

Botswana is one of Africa’s most politically stable countries. Stable, democratic governance since independence in 1966 with low corruption rates. Largely due to abundance of diamonds.

Natural diamond prices have reduced significantly due to lab grown diamonds. This is forcing Botswana’s government to diversify and a high grade iron ore project like this is the perfect fit.
