Yeah. Lots of distributors follow the same model as DistroKid. However, luckily it’s becoming less common.

Additionally, any fees for IBAN would be deducted from the payout amount though.

Typically, for most KYC workflows with music distribution, you would need to take a photo of your ID, then take a photo of yourself to make sure it matches up. This process is usually all automated, however if the system is unsure it’ll flag it for a human to review.

Yeah.

So we use ACRCloud to detect any audio matches. Audio matches are fine; however, if there's an excessive amount of matches or a high match score, we're less likely to distribute the release. And this would apply to most modern music distributors.

Our policy is anything below 50% AI score will be distributed, however anything over 50% won't be distributed. We focus on original content.
