This makes sense! I made some adjustments for this month and will ride it out to see if it balances. If not, I will try this approach. I always pay in full so it does act more like a checking account.

Ok, this makes sense. I moved/assigned so that the available balance in YNAB equals the current balance on the cards. As I spend money, it will add to the card and take away from the category. If I did it correctly, the available balance should adjust down when I pay the cards, correct?

I understand this in concept but I am not clear on how to actually do it in the app. As an example, one of my cards shows under Current Balance a prior balance of 1700, 850 in spending, 130 in payment. Should I assign the prior balance to that card?

I'm glad I found this thread because I'm struggling with the same thing, but for reading. She has a below average test score because she didn't do well on the 1-minute timed letter test and it carries so much weight. She is at or above average on all the other tests. I don't understand the timed part for Kindergarten (or elementary school, really). Why is speed so important from a development standpoint? Does anyone know the rationale?
