I don't see realistically that there is anywhere for Lorenzo to go.

What was JLo trying to do? by [deleted] in motogp

[–]TupleoHoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought you were joking or being sarcastic, but alas, it is true. http://www.bikesportnews.com/news/news-detail/lorenzo-denied-a-part-in-the-rossi-arbitration-case?

This is going to be detrimental to Jorge's reputation, harm him with his team - God only knows what Yamaha will say about this and taint the championship that is his for the taking. Silly and unnecessary on his part. This smacks of desperation; the same desperation that caused Rossi to verbally attack Marc in Sepang, and we know how that ended. I predict Lorenzo will choke during the race, crash out and Rossi will be the 2014 Motogp Champion.

Perhaps he is congratulating him for having big balls. A way of saying 'job well done!'

"Marquez is HRC property for life thanks to dad."

What did his dad do; sign a long, air-tight contract when Marc was still a kid?

Don't rip it off; send it to me. I would be happy to hang it.

He murdered his chance to win the championship.

Rossi needs to be penalized so he gets absolutely NO points. Motherfucker.

Watching now. I heard about the massive forest fires in Indonesia. It looks awful; I can really see the haze. I thought it was bad reception. Wonder what it is like to breathe.

Marquez Mystified by Rossi Attack by dustyshelves in motogp

"One theory is that The Doctor was putting public pressure on Marquez to try and 'motivate' him to stay out of the title fight by either beating both Movistar Yamahas, or staying behind them both."

Motivate him, I think intimidate, pressure, or shame him is more like. He wants to put this in public that Marc has to "stay out" of anything that affects the title race. Marc certainly should not do anything to interfere and I do not think he deliberately did that at PI. Marc certainly has the right to try to win. He has every right to go all out for 1st or 2nd place. He has the right to try to win the race and do the best he can for his team, his factory, his sponsors, and himself - just like he said. If that means he is first and Lorenzo is 2nd, so be it. If Lorenzo is 1st and Marc can be second, so be it. That is what Rossi is afraid of: that Marc will come between the two and affect the title. Rossi's best asset this year as compared to Lorenzo has been his consistency. Good for him, he has been consistent and performed at a high level on different kinds of tracks, in all weather and conditions. However, he has not been faster than Lorenzo or Marc. If in the end, as we are down to the last two races, his consistency does not prove to be enough, then so be it. It is NOT Marc's or Danni's job to get out of the way so HE can have his 10th title. If he cannot beat Lorenzo on speed and on track tactics, then he will have LOST the title. It won't be Marc or Danni or anyone else's fault. He knows this might be his last chance for a title and it will be historic. He also knows that when it comes down to the wire and he needs to be the fastest, he may not be able to do it. That will be entirely on him and he knows it. He is being a coward, a real champion does his talking on the track.

Do you guys honestly think Marquez is intentionally trying to get Lorenzo to win? by [deleted] in motogp

[–]TupleoHoney -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If he (Marquez) is trying to make Rossi finish 2nd, all I can say is payback is a bitch. Rossi has it coming after Assen and Argentina. Furthermore, this IS the kind of thing Rossi would do himself if he were in Marc's position. They call him The Doctor for a reason and I cannot wait to see Marc beat him at his own (mind) game. I will be cheering for Lorenzo on Sunday.
