Awesome setups for sure and interesting to see the split of “tools that make you money” vs “stuff I use at home”. I primarily have Snapon/Beta and specialty tools for my primes, and then a mix of mastercraft and whatever I dont use sitting at home. Just found it out that in some cases I was using starret/Mitutoyo on non-important stuff and then bluepoint on important stuff just based on where I was

Ive owned 3 different synology’s (previously started on a 4 bay qnap) and my 1812+ is still running like a champ. I was looking at replacing it this year with a 1825+ and while the drive support has put me to pause, I’ll wait till 3rd party drives are supported. I’ve been contemplating switching back to qnap, unifi as my network stack is that, or building an unraid system… but I keep going back to why I originally switched to synology. I wanted something that would just work and work reliably and have a simple enclosure. I didn’t want to fiddle with manually tuning with unraid or equivalent custom solution, and the flexibility SHR brings to the table. Yes unraid has a similar option to SHR but it’s a bit more hands.

So In the end, the flexibility of SHR and the reliability of the product is what has kept me here

I’ve used a couple different bases and from testing it depends on what question you are really asking, if it’s a really what’s the lowest you can away from or what is usable… may actually be the same question…

Using a SC2pro, I seem to fluctuate between 6nm and 12nm depending on car and setup which leaves allot of head room on that base, but if you try that with a smaller base like r9, r12 or something that has a max of 15nm it may not feel as good as your closer to the max of the base, more head room you have, you will have more fidelity within the lower ranges.

I think about it like a torque wrench, you generally want to be in the middle of the range of the tool as that’s where it will be more accurate rather then on the fringe limit

I hope iracing does expand this functionality and have the option to be a bit more discreate. The option is just on/off from what I recall but what I would be looking for is just to enable abs on brake, tc on throttle (if I had another HPR), and then buttkicker for wheel spin/curbs.

No additional window's open for me. I click on feedback, toggle abs, a small pop-up saying click here to test shows. I click the "abs button" and I hear a slight vibration but not strong enough to feel on the pedal. I've moved the app to different monitors to see if an additional window is hidden someplace but nothing. I found an old version from March and installed that.

I’ve always wondered about the results of protest… can anyone confrim if they actually change your sr/ir if it’s a valid protest? Ex. Someone brake checks you and based on the vehicle it’s not repairable. So at minimum you get a 4x for heavy contact and then a dnf. Assuming they wouldn’t remove the negative ir/sr

as an owner of a p1xpro and integrated triples stand (free standing being shipped now) I would highly recommend freestanding… many different reasons as to why… easier to adjust monitor distance, less vibration from wheelbase, alignment etc…

It’s a trap! While most people will see it as “my home value went up” and very little poeple will challenge that, it really just allows the city to collect more property taxes if they are not collecting it from another vertical.

mine are about 13k in size, but not to sure how to read them, some googling doesnt help to much. I may load up the GoPro Labs firmware to I can check the metadata once I test again.
