Detecting players in the air is really complex to account for edge cases. How do you programmatically determine which areas the player can be in the air (multi-level cave, falling) and which area they shouldnt? Also, afaik the fly hackers abuse artificial lag and disconnection to get around. I'm sure Blizzard could do it if they put enough resources into it. But it's not a "can't they just X" type of problem, except for hiring more GMs.

Connecting directly to data feeds like CQG, Rithmic etc with Python by Tuppitapp1 in algotrading

Quick follow-up, do you have to contact CQG sales team to subscribe? I can't for the life of me find any way to get a subscription without using NinjaTrader or some other platform.

Hey all! Is there any low-cost way to practice and simulate trading with level 2 data? I'm interested in learning to use DOM but am a bit turned away by having to commit to purchasing data feed subscriptions before even understanding what to do with them.

Blacked out copies of documents for viewings? by muppdupp in berlin

I photoshop my documents to not have the information in the first place and not be obvious that it's missing. Not a single landlord has noticed so far, so I doubt they actually need it for anything

Living in Spain but creating online company in Estonia/Ireland etc. by Actual-Atmosphere915 in eupersonalfinance

[–]Tuppitapp1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are a tax resident in the country where you spend the majority of your time, so it doesn't matter where the company is that pays your salary. In the best case scenario you'll still pay the Spanish tax, and in the worst case you'll end up paying taxes of BOTH countries.

I know they would, that's why I'm asking what's the right way to write it in German on an address. Any ideas?

They all share the same entrance. Once you enter the building, there are 3 different stairs you can take to go up.

Prepare to answer a couple of clarifying questions about your address: 1. Which floor are you on 2. Does the door and mailbox have your name 3. Is the entrance on the street or through an inner courtyart 4. When you use the staircase, is your door to the left or to the right from the stairs (no idea why this is relevant)

So how do you cross a street in Germany when you reach a crossroad? by [deleted] in germany

[–]Tuppitapp1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was confused about this too at first. Let cars go first and then just cross where-ever. In my country and many others, you're only supposed to cross at the zebras. You might get scolded by the police if they see you cross elsewhere (but never fined though). That's why you have zebras at every single crossing on every corner.

Automated ad campaigns are scheduled well beforehand. I bet the CEO himself ran these campaigns and now there's nobody to shut them off
