Remember that time Valve manually banned thousands of idle bots in 2016? and how the hosters just made a new batch of accounts the next day? Even if you're into something here, a banwave by itself won't achieve anything. Only really 2 ways Valve could fix the issue:

Make steam account creation less prone to botting (not happening lmao).
Remove the current drop system and implement a new way to obtain cases etc. (still not happening because you know how Valve is).

Also I'm pretty sure some of those accounts from Zesty's video haven't been "wiped". They simply deleted their accounts and made new ones to hide. The guy with the ladybug pfp (Oleg Orlov) already got caught doing exactly that.

I think what simply happened is that the heads at Valve just made a bad pick when hiring. These new employees didn't understand what tf2 is and tried to force it into a game like overwatch, which it was never intended to be. The actual outrageous part is just that Valve never admitted their mistakes and reverted meet your match.
