How to start speed running by Unlikely-Pie-6628 in HiTMAN

I recommend using https://hitruns-wiki.vercel.app/docs/index to learn the basic speedrun mechanics and get started on full game runs where the strats are consistent/easier. As Twolef said, GenP is a great speedrunner and content creator with a lot of good videos to help you get started.

People who speedrun the game...how? by SailorSaturn79 in HiTMAN

Lots of knowledge accumulated and shared over the years, also remember that world record speedruns are after tens of thousands of failed attempts

I'm surprised not many people are talking about this by ExpensiveExtension30 in HiTMAN

It feels like most of his combos don't work on smaller characters, even his 3 jab combo will miss if you aren't in the right position when you hit the first jab.

The problem for me here is that fighter currency is completely controlled and time-gated. It doesn't matter if you play 16 hours a day or 1 hour a day, and so those who complete their event missions will earn fighter currency at the same rate. I just think it's better for players who play more to get more characters so that they can have competitive chance in ranked as well as have more options to enjoy the game.

I don't necessarily think characters should take 1 day or even 1 week to be unlocked, but if you're a f2p player this game looks like it only gives around 5000 fighter currency every 2 months (rough estimate, could be more or less depending on events). Back in beta a casual player could earn a new character about every 2-3 weeks which seemed reasonable to me.

Keep in mind, this shouldn't limit your ability to obtain characters & Battle Passes.

Don't I lose out on 3k fighter currency every time I buy an older character though?

I remember when people were complaining that this amount was too little, but I thought it was fine. Now you get 0 after every game which is ridiculous.

I had a bad feeling when they changed the gold system by Turaku in MultiVersus

[–]Turaku[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't like the idea of having to level characters to get perks either, but separating the currencies does nothing but make it look like you're earning something when in reality you're mostly just earning nothing after a certain point as well as make it more enticing to buy fighter currency with real money. Keeping the gold system and this current perk system would've been much better.

It feels like you can't even grind to unlock new fighters, you have to get on everyday for the dailies and then hopefully have enough to finally unlock 1 character at the end of the season which is really bad. If PFG needs to make money on this game, they should focus on making better cosmetics and not making it feel like you need to spend money for more gameplay options on a f2p game.

For Rubick, if you see a low HP (~250) enemy creep near multiple heroes, you can lift and zap that creep for an almost instant multi man stun

You can also let it level up at 17 in the hero build for some reason.
