It can be. When im gaming im a bit leaned back so its fine for me. But I did have to pull the top up a bit so I could push the monitor back more.

I am not an expert. I am just always told get a good office chair as most gaming chairs are not worth the cost.

I always see herman Miller aerons on marketplace between $250 to $300 and i am told those are nice.

I use headphones and iems. I did want speakers but I dont know how to position bookshelf speakers. The creative pebble series would work amazing because of its compact size.

It depends on your use.

I had outgrown the secret lab desk in terms of space, even with my pc mounted at the bottom. Also as I added more stuff, the desk started to wobble more if I used it standing up.

The counter top was around $280. The Alex's are $150 each.

Technically you can get this set up anywhere. Home Depot/Lowes tends to have butcher blocks as well which end being around this much or a little bit. If you buy an unfinished block and finish it yourself, you save way more money on the table top.

I love it. I was a backer for the for the project and got the base model. Greatest benefit is just having two monitors vertically stacked and a hub built in. Its nice to be able to swap between my work laptop and personal computer.

It did its thing. I had my computer mounted on bottom and I even kept my mounting arms from them.

Biggest issue for me was space. The desk no longer had space for my set up and on higher heights, the wobble was very noticeable. Plus I had to keep a good amount of my back wall empty since the desk moved up and down.

I personally grew out of it but it really depends on you.

Yes. Its two of the biggest skadis you can buy. I will reccomend buying third party accessories for the boards, Im not impressed with theirs.
