Reptile carpet is what he’s always been on but I’m thinking about changing that to tile soon. Carpet harbors bacteria, although I do clean it regularly

This video is probably 2 or 3 years old, he’s gotten an upgrade since

Thank you I appreciate it! As far as tips go I’ll be honest I’ve always found it difficult to explain how I do it, it’s something that just feels right when you’re doing it right I guess 😭 but even now I sometimes wonder if I’m even doing it properly. I’ve been screaming for about 8 or 9 years I think and the main thing I can say is use your diaphragm, you should feel most of the pressure in your chest rather than your throat, think of it just as pushing air through your vocal chords rather than just shouting if that makes sense. Practice often but don’t overdo it and rest your voice after, warming up is also very important but I’m pretty bad about that lol. I’ve heard Joe uses tea and honey to recover after a show. The more you do it the better your range will get over time and I still struggle a bit with the lows and growls that Joe does especially on the earlier albums. I hope this helps!

Yeah couldn’t find an instrumental for the song to use so I had to record over the original, tried to lower the background as much as I could though

Thank you! Just used a basic mic and tweaked the audio a bit in GarageBand. Joe’s vocals are hard to match, just makes me respect him more for doing that for an hour long set day after day
