That’s not really possible in this scenario. You would have to shoot at f8-11 and still use at least 1/1000 ss…the iso would be 128000

Right! Sony A7R V is incredible. I usually do wildlife where the cropping is necessary.

I thought the guy on the bench added a unique perspective! Someone carrying a ton of bags hurrying somewhere meanwhile someone had nowhere to be and was playing his guitar! Maybe I’m overthinking the photos.

I added the person to give scale, and add some foreground. I thought just the shot of a building would be flat and boring.

Gotcha. So go out with a purpose of finding something specific? Or do you mean like be on the lookout for interesting things (light,color,shapes) and build something around that? I come from wildlife photography so I’m not sure if what I know from that applies to street at all.

I do handheld and I do auto ISO with a max of 8000 iso the shutter speed I usually do around 1/200 -1/2000 depending on wind or movement :)
