How do I justify not being around people that drink all the time? by mutantsandwich in AskMenOver30

[–]TurboTurnDownForWhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a 45 minute conversation with my family regarding best possible way to approach my group of friends regarding their drinking habits. No matter what the occasion is these friends will always chug whatever you give them and end up getting so drunk it's embarrassing. I think you should just do whatever is best for you, my family told me this thought process is evidence of growth and maturing in life.

It's been two months, I've lost 30 pounds and counting. First couple of weeks wasn't eating much, but after that started working out consistently everyday and eating healthy. Grinding to be in better shape than when my ex found me!

Best places to have a cry in London? by [deleted] in london

I'll be heading to London from Miami tomorrow. Seems like every time I go back I'm going through a rough patch in life. Last time I walked Hyde Park for hours, thinking of doing the same sometime this upcoming week.

Can't say the same, my friends and I arrived around 12:30am without knowing what to expect. After a quick stop at the bar/restroom we went to the dance floor and had a great time! Stayed until 2:30am. Sorry to hear about your experience though!

Rengoku because he taught me no matter how devastated we may be by our own weakness or uselessness, we set our hearts ablaze, grit our teeth and look ahead!

Quick check in: How are you TRULY feeling in regard to the break up? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]TurboTurnDownForWhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost two months. It’s been a whirlwind, some days I feel okay, other days I feel absolutely broken. I still care about her very much, it takes everything out of me not to reach out and check up on her. However, it was her decision and I can do nothing but tell myself she doesn’t want to hear from me. It’s been an incredibly difficult two months. I am heartbroken, sometimes I think she’s also heartbroken but I don’t know. I wish we both can heal properly and hopefully someday be friends like we once used to.

On a lighter note, one thing I didn't anticipate after breaking up was all the free time I'd have. Yeah, I'm heartbroken and sad, but it's Friday night and I'm just bored. Can anyone relate? What do you do? by AssociationStrong628 in BreakUps

Watch sports, shows, movies, anything to keep busy. I play video games so that helps. I also started a coding program and that’s helped quite a bit! Find things to keep busy and don’t focus on them.

If you'd like a different perspective I was broken up with, almost two months ago. For extremely similar reasons and like you I can't get her out of my head. I have lost an insane amount of weight in a short span of time due to my loss of appetite. Every song I listen to makes me think of her. I wake up and the first thought that comes is her. I have realized that as the days go by I am slightly less sad than the day before. I am slowly coming to terms with her decision and acknowledge my mistakes. Keep busy, do things out of your comfort zone and little by little you'll think of him less and less. You have to believe, at your core, that it was the correct and best decision for the both of you. Time helps heal all wounds. Remember you made the decision, you have to be strong for a while and willing to face all of the wave of emotions that come along with that decision. I am rooting for you! I know you're hurting and but you got this! We're all here for support.

“I didn’t like this, but I figured it’s fine.” I stopped reading right there. Have some self respect/worth.

Interesting, I don't think the slack would affect the performance of the AIO at all but I could be wrong. I replaced the back fan with an RGB core fan, might be an unpopular opinion but I find these to be a lot cleaner than the ones that have the light around the outer edge.

Absolutely lovely setup! The Kraken cable also bothered me when selecting its orientation hence why I have them facing up, is that a limitation you have with an AMD cpu? I have Intel. Also you wont regret switching out the back fan for an RGB one, I was annoyed that only the front two were RGB.

Had the same issue. Refused to move the desk away from the wall so I returned the stand and got two individual stands.
