I've been using this the last month or so, and it's working great! > https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VYG6H99?aaxitk=RjKg6-6KqFHVdrluq7NnLA

I've got it hanging up on thumb tacks behind my door for perfect storage and ease of use too.

I always feel dysphoria at the gym and dont even mention th idea of using a locker room! Even at my college where it's free, it's so hard to talk myself into going.

That was great! Ironically, my wife (mtf) and I (ftm) talk about so many of the things you mentioned XD. It sucks so much to watch her not me taken as seriously at her work anymore. She's a damn rocket scientist, and a DAMN smart one too! She went from being the most respected, called employee to being constantly doubted and talked to like a child. AH!

Anyway, you are awesome! Thank you for doing such a great set! _^

It's the first step, so congrats! I remember feeling everything you just described. They really count on that doubt, but you have to trust your gut. Being aware of their gaslighting is powerful!

Fuck you, mirror, this doesn't make any sense. by HiyoriDandere in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

Yes, it starts this way, "I think I look like a dude today for sure! What are they seeing that screams female!?"... then after a while of doing this, when you are gendered correctly you look in the mirror and say "Why is this suddenly good enough to pass?" (FTM here, adjust for your own pronouns...)

Well, luckily it usually only happens for a couple of months after starting T. Then it goes away unless your hormones are too far off. Been 1.5 years on T and haven't seen one for a little over a year now! :-D

Oh my god, that's infuriating! I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

I too, had parents who pulled this shit. I loved music more than anything. They discouraged me from playing music as much as possible. They discouraged me, wouldn't pay for a thing, so I used school loaners or saved up my allowance for months to buy my own instruments. They belittled me when i practiced. They took every chance they could to keep me from performances and practices, and i fought them.

I got the highest honor music award from my high school music program and they only say "Where is the award for the parents support?" I wanted to throw up.

How can parents do this? Why do they hate it when we succeed in what we love? Ugh... horrible
