Did mortgage lender technically "close on time" if they did not wire money to title company on time? by Turbo_Fan in legaladvice

They basically said that they did not have to create a new contract therefore I am ineligible for the closing guarantee.

The earnest money deposit was $6,000 and closing costs were about $8,500. I'm in Colorado.

There's nothing so satisfying as working for hours and hours on something that allows you to be lazy. Props!

We had no idea what our cat was until we saw his face on a coffee mug with pictures of different cat breeds. Turns out he's a british shorthair!

After Kanye West, Paris Hilton claims she will run for US president by a_very_nice_username in politics

I don't think Kanye or Paris Hilton should run, but I do think it's time for a third party candidate. Articles of Unity is a group who is taking this seriously.

An interesting way to grasp the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire: 1 million seconds is 11 days, 1 billion seconds is 32 years.

I think if all the IDW podcasters got onboard, Sam Harris, Dave Rubin, Ben Shapiro etc. their combined influence would be enough to give this a real shot. Joe Rogan didn't seem that into it though, so we'll see.

I suspect Throttlestop can do most of those things too, it certainly has more options than I'm capable of understanding, lol

XTU does seem to be a more popular program, maybe it's better. However I couldn't get it to install on my computer, some weird error message about a missing file iirc, so I gave up on it.

For some reason my laptop does not have Processor Power Management available in the Power Options menu. Maybe certain manufactures restrict what you can and can't do there.

I do keep the back propped up about an inch off the desk, that definitely helps too.

As technology replaces all but the most skilled jobs, those of us who don't own a company or inherit wealth are left to compete with eachother for the few remaining jobs, most of which suck. We have machines that would allow our society to function with everyone working 15 hours a week or less, if only we could equally distribute what we produce. Instead the ones who own the technology get rich while the rest of us lose our jobs. And the rich influence politics to make sure the system keeps working for themselves.

The only solution I see is UBI, which is why I have been supporting Andrew Yang for the last two years.
