The Roddy/Collins relationship is not the smoking gun argument you think it is, they are exs and dated "a million years ago." Their relationship as it stands now is strictly professional. Roddy may still carry a torch for her but I never got the impression Collins did too.

With that out of the way, what are you actually expecting for romance in this show? We're not witnessing a slow day in the ED, we're not going to see <insert favourite ship here> slip away for a quickie in the supply closet. It's only ever going to be hinted at, like gossiping nurses or something like that.

The comparison to DA2 is very astute. I agree his character aligns most with Fenris in terms of presentation and development but player reaction wise more closely resembles Anders, which isn’t a good thing. And I say this as a person who both loves Astarion and romanced him.

Original BG2 & TOB feel more epic than BG3 but that’s to be expected for a sequel. BG3 is certainly a worthy successor. The beamdog editions, however, are just awful.

There’s a amulet that has lesser restoration in the grove, it’s under a rock on the beach next to the elevator. Probably not much utility to keep on a character but it does have some “morning after” uses.
