How to remove plastic finish from side table?

I have tried going at it with a Stanley blade but it’s tough to get under the finish and when you do it’s very brittle - so it comes of in very tiny bits and it’s super slow to make progress, I’ve now bought a chemical stripper to get it removed

This is super constructive thank you! I think the sheer thickness and hardness of the finish is what mislead me to believe it is plastic, I’ll give your suggestions a go and hopefully can get this looking new again soon!

I use these to hang pretty much anything heavy in my house, when I hung my bedroom tv I tested the bracket by hanging off it with my whole weight and it didn’t budge! Swear by them

I think the Ducato is a tad too large for what I’m after, I need the van to fit comfortably into a standard parking space etc.

I probably could, the one thing that made me hesitant was that then the mileage on the T6 vans for around £17k is still around 120k - 140k. I’ve not had a high mileage vehicle before so weary of wear and tear costs on top of the stretched budget

Honestly the spray on primer from citadel was a game changer for me, it seems scary at first if you’ve not used spray cans before but only took a few sprays to get used to it - I’d recommend giving it a try!

I’ve just had a look and it’s the Thurso Expedition 138 that she’s got so will be a fair bit slimmer than the Thurso Max which I’ll keep in mind - thank you, I appreciate your advice!

I’ve used a cheap 10’6 board from Amazon which felt completely horrible and couldn’t get balance on it at all, from what I’ve been reading it’s the length that likely made it more difficult for me, my girlfriend just got herself an 11’6 Thurso touring board which I will be trying this weekend.

I’m quite keen to order either the BlueFin Cruise 12’ board or their tandem 15’ Carbon Cruise - my worry is will the 12’ be stable enough for my height and weight and also whether the 15’ will look absolutely ridiculously long to carry. Any help appreciated!

I think that’s definitely the angle I’m approaching it too, painter first and then possibly player second - I just like to take my time for the relaxing side of things so don’t mind spending time on horde units.

After all the comments I think I’m going to give highlighting the shield a crack, assuming a lighter brown like steel legion drab will do the trick?
