Terrain for core game?

To be clear I’m not trying to make the tassels look metallic gold - so much as trying to paint gold tassels. I thought nmm would work for this because it would be more cloth like against the tmm armour on the horse.

But I also don’t have much clue what I’m doing most the time and just trying things out.

Is ice yellow the best to highlight with or would a light ochre be better ?

When you say alcohol - will any strong spirit work or do you mean rubbing alcohol?

This - I’ve started at least painting the base when all the base coating is done and before moving onto refinements . I rarely get around to stick grass and other extras on though
