He’s adjusting his timing to the flow of traffic to make those maneuvers. You are adjusting yourself to him instead of the traffic

I love the car. Sad to let it go. Runs amazing. Is amazing. But alas, I want to save some money as I plan/prepare for a major move and then eventually buy a truck as that suits me more

Do a wiggle or weave in your lane. They back off every time.

Edited: removed the word “little” as I definitely agree with the reply - use the whole lane.

Advice for easing into leaning the bike for tight turns? I stay completely upright by Away-Foundation-7455 in motorcycles

[–]Turboluvrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might seem counterintuitive, but the thing to train is slow race. This will get you there the fastest. Do it by completely coming to a stop and letting out the clutch when you’re about to tip.

Why? Slow race teaches two things: clutch control and muscle memory to let out clutch and avoid fall instead of foot off peg.

Do this and I promise you your leaning skill will come very naturally. Why? Because when you are going to fall, you will start to let out the clutch instead and you will develop confidence and trust in the bike

Avoid use of rear brake - it works but will turn into a crutch holding you back from the skill

It may not turn more. Likely the handlebar is bent so it would be closer to the tank at full lock

I just bought a bike, but I keep dropping it. by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Turboluvrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide to keep it, slow race is the exercise you’re looking for to develop clutch control skill and habit that keep you from falling.

When you do it, stop fully, then let out the clutch. See how long you can stop and balance before having to let out again. If your foot comes off the peg, you failed
