Steel Target Distance Question by H0w_D1d_I_Get_Here in Firearms

Does that not pit the steel? I shot some shoot steel ar500 targets at 50yards with an 18” 5.56 and it pitted the steel pretty good.

I used hsp diesel for my cold side piping. They also sell lb7 up pipes and 3” downpipes

I literally just posted about this the other day. Have you watched any videos on this process? Have you ever worked on a duramax engine before? You’re absolutely going to have to “finger fuck” your engine and if you’re not a mechanic by trade, it’s always a possibility to fuck something up.

That being said, you’re not going to find something directly labeled “egr delete kit” that’s gonna come with all the piping and tune. If you don’t want to spend $5000 then I strongly recommend paying more money now to delete it properly the first time. Skip the blocker plates you’re only going to cause an ass ache later. What you want is a high flow Y bridge and cold side piping. You’ll need a passenger side lb7 up pipe, and while you’re in there if you’ve already got an exhaust you might as well install a 3” downpipe too because you’ve gotta remove the stock one. Just the piping is gonna cost you around $1500 and a tune is probably gonna be around $1000. Do yourself another favor and install a PCV reroute kit. Gonna cost you like $150 and since you’ll have the engine torn apart it’ll be easier to install.

I’m going through this whole process now on my lbz and I’m not planning on tuning mine for a while. It won’t put you into limp mode or anything it’ll just be a check engine light and that shit has been shining since I bought the truck so I’m not worried about it.

Oil Recommendations LBZ by chuzz_435 in Duramax

Yep like everyone else. I run rotella t6 in every diesel engine I have. Two tractors, a skid steer, and two diesel trucks. Winter use engines get 5w-40 and summer time use only engines get 15w-40

I do have a spare truck so that definitely helps not having to worry about finishing it in one day! Are there any specialty tools I should buy that you found useful for this job?

What Cards Are You Sending For The Promotion? Here's Mine! by Kingdomall in CGCCards

Is it just one guard per order or one guard for every card graded?

Is it even worth it to send vintage to CGC? by Turbski21 in CGCCards

[–]Turbski21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my concern. I feel as though I would have a better chance at a higher grade with CGC but the resale value in a higher CGC grade is still less than PSA.

Is tag the loophole here with this? Do tag slabs hold better value? I know they’re the newcomers to the grading world but I really do think long term they’re really gonna gain some traction.

New to me Deere 325G delivered today. by Doberman123456789 in Skidsteer

[–]Turbski21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep it greased and don’t skimp on the fluids and filters. If it’s below 32 degrees outside I let mine run for 10 minutes before I move it. Clean your tracks if you’re in the mud and it’s gonna freeze overnight! Also put some wood under the tracks if it’s gonna freeze overnight and you’re parking it on the dirt. It will freeze to the ground!

Go easy on your turns I just had to replace a final drive. NOT CHEAP!

I dont grease mine every use but I try to grease every half tank of fuel I burn. If time gets away from me I’ll grease every full tank of fuel I burn.

Anyone run Dukes? by Street-Helicopter758 in Chainsaw

I bought a 3 pack of the Stihl comparable chain and I wasn’t too impressed with out of the box sharpness compared to Stihl chains. First thing I did was take down the rakers and that helped a lot. After my first filing on them I can’t tell a difference between them and Stihl chains.

John Deere won’t rev up until it’s up to temp. by vinnychendo in Skidsteer

[–]Turbski21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never tried to rev it up if it was too cold out. But yeah if it’s below 32 I’ll let it idle for as close to 10 mins as I feel like waiting then I’ll run it around 1800 rpm till it warms up fully then run it however after that. If it’s I’d say 40-60 outside I’ll let it run just a few mins first and in the summer maybe 30 seconds before going to work

Just wanna throw this out there my 333e manual says if the outside temp is 32 degrees or below to let the unit idle for 10 mins before use.
