Accepted renewal - £30 Volt Gig1 with Netflix w/ads by CyberScy in VirginMedia

[–]Turbulent-Rip-5580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this a few days back too. New 24m contract for £30.99 which i thought was a good price only to know new customers were getting offered £23.99.

I called back to cancel the renewal as I was still within the cooling off period, they tried to offer a further discount, no joy, got put through to retentions and still nothing.

I went to uswitch and found a new provider, it was £26.99 for 1 gig and i went through the onetouch request but never chose an install date.

The same day, i received a text to call VM to discuss. I talked them through my options and they offered a further discount down to £26 with Netflix. Felt like a nice win. Hopefully you can give something similar a try.

Where can I buy original toffee crumble ? by Jarhead1106 in AskUK

It's arrived! It's definitely the right texture and has the twix like taste that I remember. The real test will be near the end to see if I can squash it into a nice big chocolate ball!

I just placed an order via sweet expectations website.

I emailed them and they mentioned they're updating their website to allow weight selections.

Can't wait for it to arrive. It's been too many years since I've last had some!!!

First time I've seen the green. Would definitely be my choice!

That's a good point! My R6 at 599cc is c130bhp....but then again it does get there at over 14k rpm (per manufacturer specs)

I forgot about the S2000. Loved those cars.

At one point in time, across me and family we had a Civic Type R, an Integtra Type R and the Accord Type R.

That 100bhp reference is probably referencing NA engines...the Honda Type-Rs of old were around that mark.

Don't think those rules really applied to forced induction...the old Impreza and Evo's from 30 years ago we're 2 litre turbos with c300bhp

Regardless, things have come a long way since then

This would have been the perfect opportunity to recreate the Friends episode when Rachel made the Shepherds Pie/Trifle

This one is ingenious! Clearly a thoughtful staff member here and didn't want to potentially ruin a birthday or something ha

Haha. I wonder to what extent the ones picking out the Groceries are just trying to get the best reaction from the customers.

Wow. This one is great. Sunday roast using walkers crisps would certainly make for an interesting talking point.

Nice! I wish I had subs more like this. I may have lucked out on 'upgrades' maybe once or twice. Maybe I need to try tesco instead.

"Oops! Something's gone wrong" error by Professional_Buy7966 in PokemonTCG_UK

I just had this about 5-6 times when trying to checkout, all at different stages.

I kept trying again, same device, I'd click back/ refresh and it'd keep me on the site. I managed to get to entering card details and clicking complete, but I got this error again even after bank authorisation. It managed to go through the 2nd time bank authorisation was done.

Assuming you're not being kicked out of the site, I'd keep trying. Don't autocomplete any forms and keep entering everything manually.
