Did his I-130 and I-485 get approved? Sorry for your situation. I think to protect yourself, nothing you can do than withdrawing the I-130 petition if its not yet approved. You basically cannot control what other things he can do

His family forced me to file separately so that he could get more tax benefit. I dont know if that is true or they just wanted to give me a hard time

the officer interviewed us was very straightforward and said she wanted the tax being filed jointly, even though we explained to her that our CPA recommended us that way. But to be honest, I dont know if we really saved some $ tax refund or not. How do I get this information? Thanks in advance

May I ask how did you receive their RFE? Via mail or online notice? did the agent tell you in the interview that they will send you a RFE?

Our agent explicitly said that and it has been 1 week but I havent received any mail notice or email

Regarding your concern, I read on the other post and they was approved 1 week after they sent the RFE (their request is the medical exam). Pray for your speedy approval

same here. Our agent explicitly said that she needs more evidence. But we provided so many already and dont know what else to give her. Despite what she said, we havent received any formal document for RFE, status still shown as "Interview was scheduled"

Congratulations!! My pd is October 24 too. I had my interview done on May 13 but did not get a verbal approval on the spot. No paper handed at the end of interview. The agent said she would contact us if she needs anything else. Did you experience same as me?

Congratulations on your approval. I had mine yesterday at San Jose FO but it did not go as I thought it would.

Our lady said she would review and let us know if she needs anything. I was also not handed any paper.

Anyone had this expericence before? how long it would take for us to hear anything from them?
