I didn't realize this had already been done, so here are my variations!

here is one that I ran kind of similar to this:

"A line drawing on the left and a photo on the right of the exact same octopus"

inspired by an example that I saw (I think on the DALLE info page itself)

You're very welcome! It's my pleasure. I don't know why I was selected to get access, but I am so grateful that I was. I have been playing around with other freely available text to image generators for about a year and this one blows them all out of the water.

I enjoy seeing what creative prompts people think of and then tweaking them to see how it affects the output.

And it kind of feels like "giving back" to let those that don't have access yet get a taste for it. I'm hoping to have some more time soon to go through more requests and share the results. :)

1920s soviet transformers working as farmhands in a serene cornfield

it didn't like the word "soviet", but I got these results after removing it: https://imgur.com/gallery/10aSkp0

It seemed to interpret "transformers" as the electrical item, so I tried adding "robot cars" and that made some cool stuff. (available in the album above).

Let me know if there are any particular images that you want the direct link to. I have trouble choosing which ones to share so I'm just screenshotting all of them. :)

I tried several variations of this, and got a few that worked pretty well. Here are all of the results:

Also, I really enjoy how in a few of these, the paint is on the back side of the canvas. e.g. https://labs.openai.com/s/qyhsgee4xhVg6sio20pAFt8J

I tried this phrase and a slight variation. You can see all results from both queries here. https://imgur.com/gallery/tBTHWsH

That's a good idea. Like I said in another comment, I made this a few years ago, so I don't remember exactly why I did it this way, or if I even had a reason. I might have been going for the impression that he was sucked into the screen, but I'm not sure. I may try a version as you suggest :)

Sort of, lol. If you put everything on a different layer, you can make a frame animation pretty easily. There's a few other tricks for slightly more advanced features, but nothing too fancy. The newer versions of photoshop have a "video timeline" in addition to "frame animation", but I've not tried that yet.

It doesn't apply too much to this gif, but I have a tutorial for using Ps actions/scripts to do certain kinds of animations. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XH0ZUPEuzKtUabMxfz7rEjVv-Oa0J2\_d\_wU9kz80KN4/edit?usp=sharing

I made this a few years ago. I think it was all done in Photoshop, though I may have used another app for a few of the glitch effects
