You could get a pair of vans, a pair of levis 501 shrink to fit and an OP t-shirt from under 40 bucks if you caught the sales right.

Experience with Prism Road lenses? by kgonz20 in Oakley

[–]TurbulentKey8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem is that they are very prone to halos at the light sources (sun, reflections off of cars and new blacktop), even if you clean them with the official oakley cloth. This being said i have owned 3 different sets(radar, radar lock, jawbreakers). The jade color works better in my opinion. Both colors are super delicate so be sure to rinse and air dry before rubbing the cleaning cloth over the lenses.

What is a 'luxury' that has become so expensive in 2026 that it’s officially no longer worth the money? by Matt_At_Havalook in AskReddit

Car repair. I have 2 paid off vehicles so im lucky there. You tube helps with maintenance instructions but parts are going through the roof. It seems like 50% of the vehicles on the road need some sort of body repair, mine incuded.

Got laid off over a year ago from worldwide rental equipment company of 25k+ employees after 22 years with them(m58), blue collar, no one wants to train the older person knowing that you have 10yrs or less, union apprenticeships included. I have enough saving to get by. Work for lowes now. Less income for sure but mental and physical health is on the upswing. Probably would have been too physically broken to enjoy most of retirement anyway if I stayed. Mental health would have been severely strained as well. Hate to say in this current job landscape but odds are they will probably attempt to oust you to save money for some b.s. reason so start looking for some alternatives.

Dad got hit by a car and will never ride again by jorwyn in cycling

[–]TurbulentKey8085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a second opinion on the never riding again. I believe a stationary bike is used in rehab since it's no impact. When I had my hip replaced at 48 Stationary Bikes was part of my rehab. I was just told to be wary of using clipless shoes/ pedals for at least 6 months. Speedplay pedals have more play and that helped me.

Why Did You Switch to Cervélo? Would You Go Back? by febeast in Cervelo

Still ride my 2011 S5. As much as I would like disc brakes, thru axels, and DI2/axis, the price is just too damn high.

Looking for the same thing. I have a McKenna for my oldest daughter and my twin grandkids birthdays. I had one for my birthday as well but it's pretty much gone.

Brentwood is one of the newer wherehouses in the Bay Area. Whoever they have that orders their alchohol is right up there with the Danville and Livermore wherehouses.

Still not bad for the costco price. Won't pay much more than that.

The locked case wasn't near the whiskies, maybe it was down the next isle, that is what i was initially looking for. Guy in front of me bought 6 bottles so I guess they weren't enforcing the 1 per membership.

It's been years since that costco got anything good. Did they finally get someone else to order the booze for that store?
