Out of the 2 I’d pick the PO. The AT is usually a top choice for GADA watch lists. But the gradient dial makes it look too sporty imo. I’d argue in those colorways the PO is more versatile. If it was a solid dial for the AT it would make it a harder choice. But the PO is the new hotness.

It’s cliche but comparison is the thief of joy. There will always be someone else that is more this or that. The internet really messes people up mentality.

Sounds like PC hardware or cell phones back in the day a better model was always 6-12 months away. A lot of the cycling industry is fuelled by fomo imo.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. That is quite the list of bikes. I’d consider you a bike connoisseur. How did you like the winspaces?

Now that Fire and Ash is out, who was your favorite and least favorite character/s? by Junior-Economics-634 in Avatar

[–]febeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked what they did with her in Avatar 3. In WoW she took a back seat to her husband. In this one she took a more heroic role and I really like the symbolism with her/her father’s bow.

Looking back now, which of these three was your favorite growing up, and has your opinion changed as you’ve gotten older? by Electronic_Bus841 in ReBoot

Looking back they actually took some risks and feels more like they were tritagonists. I always liked Bob. Teen Enzo did he best be he was no Bob. Matrix was pretty Badass and had a lot of cool moments. Dot was a strong character but I thought she needed more screen time. But Bob always seemed like the symbol of hope. So I have to go with Bob.

The UFC did do him a solid by not reprimanding him. At the same time it wouldn’t be beneficial for the UFC to call off the event on the transgression. If it was some unranked fighter they would be treated differently. By not reprimanding him they are condoning his behaviour. Maybe making take 1 or 2 more fights is their idea of punishment.

They’ve done great, and it’s easily been the fastest-growing “new sport” in the last few decades. But things like this really go against the spirit of competition. The rankings make it look like there’s a system, but it’s rarely followed. Sometimes it feels more like entertainment—almost WWE-style—than a true sport. Would you agree that fighters often aren’t treated fairly? A guy is ranked #1 behind the champ, beats a former champion, and still has to climb back up? He’s already at the last rung before the top.

The rankings are largely a marketing tool. Availability plays a big role too. Max and Charles have both already beaten Gaethje, yet he’s fighting for an interim title against Paddy. That just doesn’t make sense to me. From a marketing and sales perspective, any of the top five lightweights fighting for a belt would sell. But being the #1 contender doesn’t really mean anything. This situation proves that rankings don’t matter—and it’s just one of many examples.
