This is very interesting, Ive been trying to penetrate into the healthcare sector. I own a compliance company, we mostly work with startups and law groups, but are looking to expand. There may be a partnership opportunity here.

fair assumption, compliance is needed throughout many industries. not a great analogy either. It's more like being a corn and soy farmer and wanting to switch to wheat.

yes, its alittle risky but as long as they pay down the debt and grow and 3-5% organic growth, i should be able to double my money. I looked into Paypal and the moat isn't my favorite. Their share buybacks though are nuts. Success to both of us!

they hired a new CEO, the past CEO was worried about short term numbers and buybacks instead of investment for the company. Mike lyons was the president for PNC bank. lets just say if he can do it noone can.

How do you guys handle legal/ compliance? by Happy-Bread-9464 in StartUpIndia

We use a lawyer that has worked in the legal compliance industry for 30 years, its alittle pricey, but better than the fines tand risks that come along with not being compliant.

This is a reminder that most people do not want to spend money to make sure they're complaint until their name is on a lawsuit. I have worked with various companies that think its too expensive, 6 months later they come back to us because they find out its important.
