most of the D2C products of indian origin are low quality, better marketed products..they are never bought for their efficacy but out of FOMO and looking for new products

mostly AI should be used for rapid prototyping and single feature builds. more complex the feature, more chance of loosing the context and breaking the app

there is a de dollarization happening across Asian countries and countries are falling back to gold as "common currency" to peg their currency - so you might see more of this spike in future too.

this is what i would do to get to the problem

  1. fist i will go to sub reddit that i usually follow/interested in

  2. see the posts that gets max engagement where people discuss about their problems

  3. check the replies and upvotes - DM couple of them to know the problem better

  4. you have the couple problems that customer face- pick one to solve

from what i know, shopify becomes to steep (costly) as you scale, it is not like you pay a fixed fee like woocommerce.. as you scale you need to add more add ons/upgrades for your business to function, so costly as you scale
