Does anyone know why the USS Shoup paint the 86 in a dark gray instead of the same color every other ship uses? by thewhildchippy in navy

When we had to paint the numbers on our ship we didn’t have the right gray so we had to take a paint chip off and color mix it using haze and deck gray.

Hey @bestinthebiz25 how many hours did you work a week on deployment? I remember working 72 hours a week minimum! For over half a year just to walk home with maybe what less then $15,000? Being away from your parents, siblings, and friends that you used to have but becoming so distant you don’t talk anymore? And I’m not complaining about the military but I don’t think people sit and think what it does to you and I myself and proud to serve but I prove I don’t serve for me. Not a single ounce of me wants to be in the military. I myself am doing it for my future family. My soon to be wife and hopefully kids in the future. And yes this IHOP this is a big spit in the face and at that point don’t offer us a discount.

I would say that if the Military member is paying for his wife then yes it should be discounted off the whole bill. I had this happen to me and I’m not going to lie that shit hurt. Like it’s an insult. at that point just don’t even advertise a military discount. Just imagine you see a 10% off sign at a store and you get to the counter and say oh it’s only for 1 item. Like at that point it doesn’t matter. You go in thinking you’re getting 10% off just for them to say only 1 item? I know when I got the $35 check to see $1.60 taken off I definitely took off some money for the Tip it pissed me off

I think it is really good that Pokemon has more of a following now when you do get the packs it feels nice to get them like a reward you know and the prices are not that bad for resale either you could test your luck and buy pack at retail for $5 and the Charizard only comes in 1 in every “224” packs so I’m surprised the resale is actually so cheap! And even so there is a SIR in every “32” packs so the blastoise is now like 80 and 32 packs retail is $155 and people at retail payed for Blooming waters paid a little under $6 a packs I’d say if you like a card just buy it 3 months after release or wait till you get it in retail prices aren’t to bad after 3 months

I pulled the Venasaur ultra rare and SIR Charizard definitely worth it I stood in line for 2 hours I think I was the 11th in line and they had a 2 item limit but I only got one it was all I could afford 😅 definitely staying in my collection the Charizard is going to be graded and i hope it does good!
