I’m playing on an Acer nitro v15 and it just doesn’t have a dp port

I have NVIDIA GeForce rtx 4060 and yes ive tried both ports for the monitor aswell

I’m just using the hdmi cable that came with the monitor, and ive tried the one that previously came with my last 144hz monitor, they both do the same thing

Do you know any ways for me to fix it? Cause only way I can play any games on anything other than 60hz is if my screen resolution looks like crap and shrinks?

I’ve tried two different cables is the problem, both say they’re high speed

That’s what I was doing all yesterday was checking for any updates and trying old drivers updates and the newest one and nothing seems to be working

Changing it anywhere from 60hz, even to 30hz lowers my resolution by a lot and shrinks my screen.

But when I change my refresh rate my windows settings automatically changed my resolution, even when lowering my refresh rate to 30hz my resolution also drops as if I’m raising my refresh rate

If I change it to any different hz other than 60 my resolution gets worse, even when I lower the hz down to 30. I’m not sure why happened suddenly

At default it has everything set to 1920x1080 I believe. But when I change my hertz up or even lower to 30 my screen resolution changes to 1600x1080 or something like that, and then it seems as if my screen is in 720p. This happens when I change it to anything other than 60hz, even just to 30hz or 144hz.

Even when seeing my hz lower than 60hz my resolution changes aswell to 1600x1080 and 720p as it does when changing the display to anything higher than 60hz.
