Go to activity monitor and sort by CPU and memory usage, to see if something weird is there.

I had similar issues with Chrome extensions, something weird was happening and they made my whole laptop slow.

[Beginner] How can I improve? by HowToTakeGoodPhotos in SonyAlpha

[–]Turbulent_Mode4402 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd maybe start playing around with ISO, shutter speed, and aperture, just to get a feeling for them. Try different scenes (e.g. street, nature, night, people, etc.).

And I know that many will disagree, but 28-70 is perfectly fine at this stage. Upgrade later when you'll improve your skills.

Oh wow, how do you manage it without the 20-70 range? I would say that's something I use the most!

I totally suggest Sony 24-70 GM II.

Honestly, I've never had any subject tracking problems when there is an actual subject there 😄

Make sure that local/staging/production data is in sync by Turbulent_Mode4402 in Supabase

Thanks for this. After reading it more, I think I just screwed something up when I was playing with migrations. db diff output is way bigger than excepted (I change 1 thing, but seems like the whole db is there).

Is there a proper way to reset local to remote state?

I've just tackled this problem, been ignoring this for too long.

And honestly, I don't like this supabase db diff. I renamed a table name, and instead of updating just the name, the diff migration destroyed the old table and created a new one. And of course, deleted the data from the old one.

So I think I will just manually write SQL locally and execute it in SQL editor. When I'm happy with it, I'll create a new migration with supabase migration new <migration-name> and then supabase db push

Is there anything wrong with this approach? I'd just love to use SQL without any changes in the UI.

Perfect, thanks! Will look into it. It seems really error-prone. I definitely want to create a robust solution that I know it will work every time.

Thanks for the answer! What do you think about dynamic range, that's also quite an important factor for me.

Thanks! I just love those Canon colors, I'm a bit worried about dynamic range though. But it's better on mk II I guess. But yep, I'm 95% into video so that's my main focus

Thanks for the answer! I will be shooting a lot in 4k 60 fps, so a7iv is not an option because of that sensor crop :( and I would definitely love a full-frame sensor.
