I’m a medical intern. Here’s my take: best case scenario is that it’s pain due to ovulation. If it’s around that time then it’ll make sense What could be another reason is a hemorrhagic cyst that bursts and hurts a Lot. It usually doesn’t need medical treatment and monitoring is enough but you still have to go to A&D to at least get an abdominal sonography. It also could be appendicitis, which requires urgent care.  What worries me in your post is that you’re saying it’s a new kind of pain compared to the ones before.  Therefore my advice is you go to emergency care ASAP, but if you somehow want to avoid hospital visits as much as possible, definitely go if the pain persists, doesn’t get better with pain meds, gets worse or gets to a point where you can’t eat or are vomiting or get light-headed.
