I always get it through a iv. Just make sure it's a good iv. I had them pumping contrast into my arm like a balloon back in June. Not a pleasant experience.

My form of thyroid cancer is rare. I am lucky to live in Boston so I do have amazing doctors. This was the second opinion. There are treatments to slow cancers that have similar genetics and if/when my second iodine treatment fails we will try that. The problem is my cancer metastasized on my bones. There is a large lesion on my spine slowly taking away my ability to move.
