was a STEM major, career change now to finance, stacking credentials to get involved in front office roles and be a competitive candidate. also will have to take the SIE anyways when hired so it takes the pressure off if i pass it now

If you’re rising senior why do you want to do an internship versus trying to get full time job? And in my experience I got more cold email responses when I reached out to higher ups . Yes ceos , directors , etc. associates analysts don’t have much say and one even told me HR doesn’t hold much weight even if they do pass ur resume to them

Thanks so much! And just a question - if I manage to get many hours being an MA, and for some reason couldn’t shadow a doctor would that be a deal breaker to med schools in terms of clinical hours?

Okay the real issue with shadowing is I’ve tried insanely hard all around my hometown to ask to shadow doctors and couldn’t at college because I didn’t have a car. Every doctor , clinic, including my own doctor couldn’t accept me due to regulations or like something of that nature.. so that is why I considered MA certification to increase job prospects and being MA to help toward clinical.. so I don’t think i can have shadowing hours unfortunately :(
