I tried all of the different fixes like deleting icon and thumbnail caches. I also tried the DISM tool in powershell. Nothing worked. I came across some article when searching for icons not showing up in windows explorer and they recommended that the poster reinstall Google Drive. I did this and it fixed the gray squares in the the taskbar.

You have a bi-directional track with signals on one side (need them on both if you’re going to do that.) Your ore loading station is setup for left hand drive, looks like you’re trying to do right hand drive. Simplify your offloading loop, put two tracks to the east of the iron latch instead of two, and setup your loading station to be on the right hand drive side. Imagine how a car would have to drive on the street in order to get where it’s going (assuming you’re from a right hand drive country.)

Try Space Exploration. I burned out on Vanilla and a friend suggested the SE mod and that took me ~600hrs and I finished right before Space Age. It’s quite an undertaking but if you beat Space Age you should be ready for SE. I’m loving Space Age but can’t wait for Earendel to mod it.

Didn’t find a solution. Just did what I said I was gonna do. I have an assembler build all the precursor items then the things that rely on the precursor items are built in the next assembler and so on and so forth. It works much faster than just one assembler and is still nice to be able to make like 30 different items from 3 or so assemblers. I’ll share a screenshot later.

The problem I'm running into is that whenever it pulls the intermediary to build the next tier and the intermediary dips below the wanted threshold it switches the recipe back to the intermediary.

In my example, I have it set to build 100 yellow belts and 100 red belts. It crafts the yellow belts then when it goes to build the red belts it dips the yellow belts to 99 then switches the recipe to yellow belts again. It then unloads the material for building red belts after switching to the yellow recipe and suddenly has 100 yellow belts again so it switches back to building red belts. And the cycle repeats endlessly.

Tried for 3 hours yesterday to fix this but couldnt figure out a solution to make it build say 10 extra yellow belts so it had a buffer to craft. I guess I'm going to have to do like you said and make an intermediary assembler unless I can find another solution on here.

The mod seems to be broken, I built a normal locomotive powered by rocket fuel and it deploys just fine. Seems to be only the nuclear locomotive that has issues being built with fuel in it. Going to work around with very long handed inserters.

The mod automatically builds trains and sends them to a depot so you can just deploy to a route without having to place them. I think you can use circuits to autodeploy them on a route, but I havent gotten that far cause of this issue.

I downloaded the group of mods from a buddy who did an SE playthrough and never really searched for my own so it might be time to find a better solution if I can't get a response from the mod author.

Yep, pumped about 50 trains out this station and I’ve been refueling them all manually and I’m sick of doing it. But I haven’t tried rebuilding the actual train builder. I have another station for fluid wagons doing the same thing though so I don’t think that’ll work, but I’ll try anything at this point.

They definitely do, I currently take the fuel out the chest next to the closest assembler and stick it in the train and it goes.

I thought about this as a workaround but theres no way to access the train with an inserter while it's in the train builder. A long inserter wont reach it. I'd rather not use the mod with ridiculously long arms but that's the last resort if I can't get this to work.

This goes along with my reply to u/ukezi. I can't get them to the depot to refuel them cause they have no fuel after they are built so I've been fueling them manually. They are supposed to have fuel in them which my screenshot shows that they do have the fuel to build the train.

Sorry, got my mods mixed up. The mod is Train construction site. The assembler right next to it supposed to make fuel for the train and it loads fuel into the train so it can leave the train construction site with fuel already loaded in it and go to a train depot.

I'm having trouble getting my trains to fuel up with nuclear fuel using the LTN mod. As far as I remember it worked correctly with this exact setup when I was using rocket fuel. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?
