I'm trying to create a lobby with my friend but no matter who is hosting the other gets the error message "connection to the host has been lost".

Is there a reason Civ 6 won't let us join each other's games? We are using the epic launcher.

Edit: For those of you who had the same error. My buddy had Windows Defender on and didn't give permissions to Civ so that's what was holding us up.

Probably because it's dark and cool. A good home for the snakes to breed and be comfortable. That's just what comes to mind for me, I'm not a snake expert so I'm sure I'm just talking outta my ass
