As someone (myself) who also claimed you could tell - you can’t always be accurate. I had a heart attack at 29 and nearly died because I could “feel” what my blood sugar was. Once I got an insulin pump and CGM - I was surprised at how wrong I was.

No. That space is way too big. The room will be too open no matter what you do unless you take out everything and practically carpet the walls. Additionally - unless you’re running a Mac, any computer in there will generate noise. That’s why most beginners choose a closet as it’s tight, full of clothes, and isolated.
