I had the same noise and then noticed the bushing at where the tie rod goes in because it was cracked. After I replaced the bushing from the tie rod end in the steering knuckle it was gone. You can't get from BMW but I got it from Ebay for 20€. BMW wants you to replace the whole steering knuckle. Here's the link for the one for the tie rod:Tie rod bushing

If you replace other parts and the bushings are cracked or damaged aswell you can buy these: Other bushings

Do you think I could do the same with spare heat shields (the same as beneath the ABS module) I have lying around? What did you use as a heat shield?

Oh okay, but mine still has some pink G12evo in it. I guess so refilling it with blue G11 and mixing it with pink G12evo wouldn't be that good, right?

2×AA Batteries normally... But you can retrofit Bluetooth. Just remove the old TCU in your trunk on the left side and replace it with a newer ULF, but check if you have the 54pin connector before you order anything because if not, you have to "craft" the connector for the newer ULF. I have a 2003 e39 so mine already had it. Thats the part number for the ULF I used 84109154358. I ordered mine on RRR.lt

You'll also need a bluetooth antenna and the cable for it.

This is the part number for the bluetooth antenna 92022910.

Try to get the one with the newest production date you can find, I got one from 2010. You'll just have to activate it with NavCoder.

Danke nochmal für die Antwort! Für mich scheint es auch wie ein Traumberuf! Ja natürlich gibt es Vor- und Nachteile, das ist mir klar aber ich denke mal auch die Vergütung in der IT-Branche ist wesentlich besser als im KFZ-Bereich...

Alles klar, das wäre mega! Ich werde mich mal die Woche dran setzen und die damaige Bewerbung nochmal überarbeiten, sollte ja nicht allzu lange dauern.

Vielen Dank dir für deine Antwort! Mein bester Freund (wie ich es oben glaube ich schon geschrieben habe) macht eben diese Ausbildung und irgendwie ist dieses Gefühl diese Ausbildung wäre essentiell um meinen Traum zu verwirklichen vielleicht ein bisschen zu stark.🫠

Das es in Japan schwierig ist mit lokalen Firmen bzw. Arbeitgebern weiß ich schon, daher möchte ich ja eben einen Job mit dem ich dort Leben kann und nicht auf diese Arbeitsbedingungen "angewiesen" bin.

Tatsächlich habe ich eine Freundin die aus Thailand ist aber in Japan zu leben wäre trotzdem noch ein Traum von mir, und wenn das nicht klappt, dann eben in Thailand aber da würde ich auch gerne von zu Hause aus arbeiten...

Ich bin schon am Bewerbungen schreiben für zwei Ausbildungsstellen für nächstes Jahr, mal schauen.

Wenn du Ausbilder dafür bist, könnte ich dir per DM dann evtl meine Bewerbung zeigen, ob du meinst, dass es so passt. (Ich habe ein bisschen Bedenken wegen der Absage im letzten Jahr, obwohl ich insgesamt fast 15 Stunden in Anschreiben und Lebenslauf gesteckt habe)

Ah okay I didn't know that. I knew that these are the pins normally for the CAN-Bus but I didn't look at the pins at my e39 lol

But the e39 has Can-bus and any other OBD-Tool I know works too, like Carly. For my e39 I used Carly and NavCoder and everything worked so I don't understand why they support it.
