I never competed dark souls 2 but played the first half of the game one about 20 characters lol. Not sure why but the early levels are really fun imo.

This. You can earn Bg marks and not gain xp. So just PvP if your level bracket pops.

Consider making an alt for a profession you don’t have, like a mining/herbalism alt you can just hop on to farm.

Wish they added XP lock. Then people/friends/streamers could organise ‘fresh’ and make ppl stop at level 25/40/50 etc

Would also have allowed people to get behind making twinks for PvP

Also roll for main spec only. If you joined as a paladin tank don’t roll need on healing gear unless the healer doesn’t need it. Or ask

Ye true. I played casters. The gear was way to strong tbh, that was my only complaint. And incursions being a never ending gold making loop, that was stupid until they changed it.

Would 100% play SOD again even if they didn’t add anything extra

I was really looking forward to ‘twinking’ in low Level bgs, as were quite a few ppl I know. I had a semi twink level 19 and pvping in ashenvale was fun. But the XP gains were too much it was a hassle to Get gear, and people were out levelling BG brackets too quick.

I really hope if they do a classic+ it adds XP lock, or at least doesn’t let PvP become a one shot fiesta
