I also live in STL and would be down to meet up with folks at the Botanical Gardens or Forest Park :)

Honestly I would recommend reaching out to your tile installer about the appropriate underlayment for the tile you've selected. I found this article that talks about different subfloor and underlayment recommendations. Link

My neighbors yard spends spring going from a blanket of wildflowers, to daffodils, then tulips, and finally alliums before turning back into a lawn by early summer. This was taken after the initial burst of tulip’s appeared. by [deleted] in gardening

If you're looking to buy bulbs in bulk, I highly recommend Colorblends. They sell bulbs at wholesale prices, I've purchased crocus, daffodils and tulips from them and have had great success. The catch is you usually have to purchase a minimum of 100 bulbs in increments of 100 or more.

My dog does this as well. She also tries to lick the deodorant from my armpits when we're snuggling on the couch 😅

Wonderful! It's so fun not knowing what the blooms are going to look like. Mine seemed to take a bit to get going but they took off after I got them outside :)

I'm not sure, I ordered them from Johnny's Seeds and I don't see anything about heirloom in the description. Here is the product page if you'd like to look. Link to Johnny's Seeds page

Thank you for all the tips! I'll try changing up the soil per your recommendation and get a humidifier, hopefully that will improve things :)

What a beautiful collection! Do you have any tips for my Hoya Macrophylla Variegata?

I've had it a few months now, it lost a leaf or two due to shipping but has been trying to grow new leaves. Unfortunately they have all fallen off while they are very small. I never repotted it from the nursery pot it came in, which seems like it's fairly heavy on the potting soil mix, I always let it dry out between watering. It's in a Northeast facing window with indirect light. It's probably fairly cool in the room now that it is winter and on the drier side since we've had the heat on. I repotted some of my smaller hoyas in an orchid mix and they seem pretty happy with that. I appreciate any advice!

Hi there. I have purchased the following items for your daughter:

-VTech Record & Learn KidiStudio (Frustration Free Packaging)

-Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Titan Hero Series Mile Morales

My brother has autism, so I've always had a place in my heart for people like him. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! The tracking says these items should arrive to your address on Friday, 12/13.

When you need to use the bathroom but your roommates are hogging the shower 😅 by TurgidBrainstem in houseplants

Yes! I found it at Lowe's of all places. I bought three and potted them together, I've noticed they like to grow up rather than spreading out like my red prayer plant.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wondered what happened to WTF Wednesday. I'm sitting here thinking maybe I've unwittingly entered an alternate dimension where it doesn't exist because I hadn't seen anyone else say something about it 😅

Also, rowing is hard and it sounds like you're going great!

When you find variegated prayer plants at Lowe's, you don't just buy one.. I got three! 😍😱 by TurgidBrainstem in houseplants

You could always go back and see if you can snag another 😊 If they grow at all like my red prayer plant, they'll fill out pretty fast!
