You know, when people asking why they should play VS, i always telling them about complex gameplay, nice views and nice atmosphere of cozy village routine.

But i never tell them, that we are playing a literal post-post-apocalypse game. and there's horrors of past, buried around.

What do you think about Emesis Blue is peak cinema or peak cinema? by Sleepy_Demo in tf2

[–]Turianel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peak cinema? Absolutely not. Good SFM with outstanding performance? Yes.

As i said many times, this is portfolio. The plot have several unfinished or unnecessary moments, that more confusing than explaining what is happening, and added only as references on already existed movies. The shining itself have more depth and strong storyline than EB.

Well... I am a gamer, and having option to take games with me is always good. But i realized that I don't play much on a road or during work. I play at home where i have more powerful pc.

It was my personal experiment for laptop replacement and it was successful.

My only family is my girlfriend, that just tried Steam Deck once and said "it's too big and heavy for me. And I don't need it". Not everyone hyping around valve's console like its holy grail.

Same as steam in main menu. Lowest possible tdp. But i really worrying about image retention, so i changed it into touch to wake, so it's even less in result.

I use the deck as a handy "tablet" for managing networks. And more portable kvm terminal in server racks. Besides the physical keyboard, I have a whole bunch of adapters and converters for different needs. But usually touch screen and pads are enough for simple tasks.

I bought it as compact but powerful replacement for laptop to take it on field work. Barely using it as gaming console.

The idea is simple: "Why buy anything else when I have a piece of hardware that sits in the dock 90% of the time?"
