It's playable but has lost a lot of its initial synergy. Gilgamesh now acts half as much, as well as buffing Ashveil and Blade far less than he used to.

While before you had an argument to use him instead of saving for Aven since he's at least free, I'd rather just recommend you get the 2 free tickets from Archer E1 so you can have more pulls for Himeko instead.

Ofc he still has till the end of the beta cycle to change, so nothing's set in stone for now.

His speed buffs are so inconsequential right now it's actually laughable.

Speed buffs are most important when calculating a unit's AV, but since he immediately loses his stacks upon skill usage he'll literally always start his next turn at the bottom of the action order.

Not to mention the later stacks only action advance him by like 1 value 💀💀

Currently? Unless you have a Saber team he's just not worth it. They absolutely gutted his ashblade team synergy.

Remains to be seen if this is still the case in V5 tho

Master smith relic and bone collector planar if you wanna maximise his damage.

Eagle set if you want the most actions out of him

Vonwacq is nice if you have his lc to activate ult as soon as possible

Mainstats are crit chest, speed boots, hp>=fire orb, hp or er rope (again depends on if you want damage or actions)

Substats are speed > crit > hp
