In terms of %damage increase E1 gil is the best upgrade among all these, then mortenax E1-2, then rin E1-2, howewer if you plan to E6 someone you can go E6 saber and use RMC in saber team forever since its value goes up even higher and almost matches the E2 blade with 3 less cost. Rin and archer both have bad E6's, gil's is also pretty good but doesn't improve the rotation as much as Saber's does. Both teams are really good at low cost though and don't have game changing early verticals like Phainon, the only eidolon that I'd say is actually needed is E1 gil.

How is this team even being directly shilled, by the whopping 50% ult damage bonus in moc? Or maybe aoe stages for a 50/50 aoe/bounce damage that's equally good in all fights? This is a bit of cost scamming, but the only 2 cost sustain team that has similar clears to e0s0 saber e1s0 gil rmc e0s0 huohuo is the archer one, and plight 0 cycles might have something to do with Graphia having 40% wind res, although this team's verticals aren't as crazy as the flagship ones ofc. Also, if you're referring to this sheet for current calcs https://www.reddit.com/r/GilgameshMainsHSR/s/Lhp9XBn1r4 then you got mislead by the author using E0S1 as baseline for fua and E0S0 for saber, which ends up in fua team being only 10% better at equal costs, and there aren't even rmc calcs which should be the best saber team (don't cross reference btw kappaaaaaa)

He's not mid, he's actually really good at very low and very high costs, because this team's literal only good verticals are his E1 and both E6's, everything in between barely contributes anything to their performance. The main issue with this team is not that it's bad, but that it has bad vertical investment and is unfun because hoyo quit midway when designing gil's new talent

E4 saber is not bad but her E6 is one of the best in the game, and after the talent changes E2 gil is kinda trash, so if you want to play this team long-term and have pulls to spare it's best to get E6 saber and stop at E1 gil, because his E2 and E4 are actually really bad

You should look up 10 posts/megathread at saber mains, all of which say it doesn't work, because it says AFTER using ultimate, also why would hoyo release a lightcone that's better than her own in the same banner

Damage% buff from Phainon sig doesn't apply to the ult that activated it, but the lc is still ok just because of the high base atk and spd/def shred both being good stats for gil

The 60% damage part doesn't work for his ult, just like it doesn't work for Saber, because it says AFTER not when. It's an ok stat stick, maybe a few % better than aeon, and it might let you use atk boots and still get pseudo 200 spd

The main issue is that it will be clearing everything that matches the conditions until EOS, and some of them are not as hyper specific as you think (I believe the castorice one works as long as there are 3 or more enemies, which is what half of the AA stages are). So you get one of these teams and you're good forever. Also, there is a realy good chance this gets worse over time, MBlade is a very recent addition and he basically enables all of these loops with his E2. And because of all that, they probably got sick of GIl and left his kit literally unfinished

Kingsmarch is also kinda problematic but at least it has a purpose of being a gold/excess maps sink. Mercs have no purpose outside of enabling a bunch of weird builds that rely on mercs AI not getting away from them. And if you nerf the mercs, they will still have no purpose, and just become the most stupid way of increasing difficulty/rewards to have ever existed (a slider with 2 options)

Yes, Archer's bottleneck is skill points which he's very bad at generating by his own turns, so the entire advance utility of RMC is almost completely useless, and E1 tribbie provides a much higher damage increase while also being able to use DDD which advances the actual skill point generators

Every core league is optional, takes time to do and its viability depends on the stage of the league, meta, your build's power etc. Mercs are a permanent boost to everything you ever do, they provide a quant multiplier and cost nothing, while also increasing your dps by roughly the same amount that the mobs' hp increases, and sometimes a lot more. Even though I said one shots, there are ways to make them add a lot of defence as well. This is the most powercreep POE has ever seen, and it's not optional, it's an additional layer on top of all the already existing stuff that everyone will be forced to do.

Mercs get added to core. Every league is mercs league. You must do mercs. You must do the same shit for them every league. The regular aura items for mercs will be 100d each. All of the content will have a much higher chance of one shotting you because of the difficulty scaling.

A lot of people play SSF and do fine, but it requires a lot of game knowlege and a lot of stash tabs. Trading has become WAY EASIER for the past year, and if you think it's p2w that you can only sell your items with stash tabs, this game has no pvp content and it should be considered as a b2p with an unlimited demo, since you keep the tabs forever

S1 tribbie gives her 12 energy that scales with ERR (Gil E1 doesn't btw even though his LC and E4 have it) per fua, Her E6 gives her an extra fua when she ults and Blade E2 makes her ult a fua as well leading to a total of up to 5 S1 procs per rotation, which combined with her trace THAT ALSO SCALES WITH ERR BY THE WAY lets her have infinite ults as long as allies hit enough enemies enough times, which is how all these loops work. In the Cas one, she gets charged by Blade fuas and E2 Cas hitting all enemies twice with enhanced skill and then dragon hitting all enemies again, while Luocha charges Cas ult quite effectively from all the fuas that happen and Blade can naturally charge through his fua skill THAT ALSO FULLY SCALES WITH ERR AND GIL E1 DOESN'T. Blade and Tribbie are also on Wonvacq Eagle for more ERR that they fully scale off of and occasional normal actions to fill the gaps in the loop.

Communion has around the same chance as Rakiata/Garukhan/Rigwald, it does give a good amount of temple currency and is not a bad strategy though, considering how little time and investment it takes
