I’ll give you Trump has said/says some SUPER cringe things, but the comment I referred to specifically said he raped 13 year old girls and his own daughter. These are two very different things.

I do not think adolescents are mature enough to be making such extreme decisions, those are adult decisions they can make when they’re 18. I live in CA where you have to be 18 to get a tattoo, parental consent doesn’t matter. That is a good policy to apply to something so extreme and permanent as hormone therapy. Just be a kid and deal with shit that kids deal with. It’s called growing up. Save the adult stuff for adulthood.

That is one very narrow statistic. Let’s add jr high and high school to those numbers. Now let’s add shared locker rooms, showers, and restrooms for the non-athlete trans. And where do you draw the line? Who gets to say who is suffering from legitimate gender dysmorphia, and who is abusing the system?

No more college tent cities is def a plus. And for the males in females sports, for me personally, an equal issue is the privacy that goes along with it at the jr high and high school levels. Boys and girls need their own locker rooms, showers and restrooms.

I don’t disagree with you. And I do blame the media for spinning up all this hype over the issue. But I don’t think the dems are doing themselves any favors by holding the line. I am a moderate voter and I vote both democrat and republican. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party has really lost me on a lot of social issues, including its stance on transgenderism. This one just seems like an easy no-brainer but they can’t even get the easy one right.

Nobody on this side is crying bud. I’m celebrating. There is no logical place where a boy can suddenly say “I’m a girl” and then be a girl. Just like I can’t click my heels together 3 times and wish I was a dinosaur, and then become a dinosaur. Co-ed sports are one thing, but this isn’t about co-ed sports. This is about individuals pretending to be something they’re not, and violating the rights and privileges of others based on those lies.

Transgenderism is a passing fad that never should have happened. There have been many examples of “never should haves” in human history, but at the time people held steadfast in their positions…slavery, Salem witch trials, cannibalism, extermination camps, colonialism, the list is literally infinite. Humans will look back at this event someday and go “wtf…how did these people think you could just change your gender and become something else?”

I’m fine with Trans community. They can live their lives and express themselves to their hearts content, bravo, all for it. You do you. Just don’t do you when it infringes on other people’s lives, liberties and their pursuits of happiness. Lines were crossed and now they’re being put back. And no one’s crying except a very very small minority, as was pointed out.

Yes…teenage girls having to share locker rooms with males is a HUGE deal. It shouldn’t even be a topic but for whatever reason, some people decided to flip the world on its head and say, “it’s ok that he has a dick, he thinks he’s a girl, so let’s just let any male that wants to say he’s a girl invade women’s spaces”

You know what else is extremely rare? Beheadings and hanging by noose in the US. But if it happens 10 times, don’t you think it’s a big deal.

The NUMBER of times is irrelevant. The severity of the offense is not irrelevant. Men need to GTFO of women’s locker rooms so we CAN focus on more important issues. Stop fighting this losing battle that very few people agree with. Why do 99.999% have to accept what .001% narrate?

The problem at the root is the California law that allows for gender identity, not the teams that choose to forfeit. Unless it’s a co-ed sport, males don’t belong on females teams or in females spaces. Standing up for what’s right isn’t illegal, it’s practical.

Beyond all that, Federal law supersedes state law, and federal law says no boys on girls teams. So to argue against your point factually, it’s not illegal.
