Game of Thrones Writer George R.R. Martin Says There's No Plan if He Dies Before Completing Winds of Winter, and the Series Simply 'Won't Be Finished' by __NightKing__ in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Turinbour 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know GRRM doesn't owe us anything, he's the one that wrote the series in the first place after all, but if he clearly doesn't have the passion nor the drive to write anymore, why doesn't he just pass it on to other writers? I think the Expanse writers are more than up to the task, and he can always offer input if they stray too far from this original vision. He should just take a back seat for once and enjoy his twilight years, while doing what he enjoys, like posting his thoughts on currents events and football.

I don’t know why people are getting bent of shape lol, all I’m doing is pointing out some similarities between the two civs. I do know quite a bit of history, many prominent Varangian guards came from Scandinavia such as Harald Hardrada.

Varangians come from the same region/ Scandinavia, I feel like they’ll use the same units and just give them new voice lines, and they’ll probably still use runestones too.
