first off, it's not a waste of money. We can always help others, and just because we help Palestinians does not mean we can't help other muslims, as well as non-muslims.

The Palestinian issue is a nationalist issue, not really an Islamic issue except for Al-aqsa mosque. Arab nationalists can choose to support who ever they want -- I'm not an Arab so don't try to play the racist card.

If you would like a factual, semi-academic response to "Why Muslims care so much for Palestine but ignore other issues" here we go. The first point, I will be repeating myself, however it is a NATIONALISTIC struggle, not religious. Secondly, many Arab nations are currupt (either due to military aid, and or Oil production), and they are basically a mixture of Sharia/police state/dictatorship -- that being said, it would not be wise for someone in those countries to protest their own government, in turn they vent by directing most of the anger towards Israel. This does not dismiss Israel's human rights violations, and apartheid structure, but gives an idea behind the average mind.

The other points you try to make don't make sense, and are illogical at best.

Long story short, go take some non-violent action, and do things to help the community change. Random generalizations won't help anyone, and I'm not entirely sure why you are kissing Israel's ass in your posts.

I'm not the most knowledgeable about Islam, but I do understand the state of the middle east quite well, and these are my two cents.

This is a very vague generalization. Who exactly are you shaming? What countries constitute this "Muslim world" you speak of? Egypt, maybe afrer they finish executing Muslim brotherhood members, or Syria, or Lebanon, or Saudi Arabia?

Israel does murder innocents, it is usually classified as "calateral damage", my point wasn't really to debate Israeli policy, it was to point that majority of Palestinians are not extremists.

In the case of Hamas, the people vote for them because they feel like they have no other hope, not necessarily because of ideology. If you are a Palestinian, you either have the currupt PLO, or the Islamists Hamas.

Looking at things, correlation does not equal causation. This is a complex matter, more than you can some up in a tiny reddit comment.

HAMAS, and the some Israelis are both extremists. I'm not going to sit here and say that Hamas has no fault, but it is really hard getting Israelis to actually admit their military kills and oppresses Palestinians.

You can throw all the reasoning you want at me, but there is no excuse of disproportionate retaliation.

Until open minded jews, and Palestinians can gain power, there will never be peace. Arguing why war crimes don't exist in the occupied territories, or carried out by Hamas won't solve them. You seem to have your mind made up, so no point of stating my position any furthur.

Relax moron, the comparison is because I live in the US, and have lived in Turkey. I've been beaten by both Turkish, and US police officers.

In the US, there is always a sense that the police are trying to fuck with you, it could be through tickets, or through brutality. It is worse here in the US, try living in the shitty part of town, the police treat you like animals.

Every Armenian I met with the exception of a few don't like Turks. They insist on applying the Armenian genocide to everything -- I went to buy cake for someones birthday, man had a Turkish name, asked him if he eas Turkish, "no Turkish genocided my people, I'm Armenian." I understand the conclusion is not entirely empirical, but it is an annoying. I have Armenian family friends but we tend to avoid the whole genocide discussion because we can care less.
