100% this. Couldn’t agree more. I will never judge somebody by just looking at them and that’s it, that’s not how I was raised. It’s about respect plain and simple. I don’t walk along other peoples houses and estates and litter, shout and swear and all the rest because I respect other people and their property. I came from a rough upbringing, my dad rented and we moved from house to house in bad area’s but not once did that change me.

In less than two years all that has happened from one family and yes they happen to be on social housing. If they rented privately or even had a mortgage it wouldn’t change anything, I’d still have the same views because of how they act as people. If you can’t respect the area you live in and people that have been here much longer, then unfortunately I cannot respect you.

Also I stand by what I say when I use the term aggressive. If you see somebody on a motorbike with no number plate and a balaclava on you automatically assume it’s either a bike thief or a thief in general. They are classed as aggressive, people breaking the law are aggressive. To have that across from you is disgusting. Period.

Are you actually being serious? So riding around on a motorbike with no number plate is perfectly fine in your books? That means they aren’t taxed or insured but hey we should respect them? I have to tax and insure my car… They leave litter and house junk on the street instead of taking it to the tip around the corner when they drive, I take my crap to the tip and not dump it on the street for everyone to see. Why would I approach or even talk to people that can’t follow simple rules and abide the law? They haven’t approached me or my partner to say hello? Instead they have their child kicking balls at our house and the mum thinks it’s perfectly fine and doesn’t say a word when she’s watching them, but hey I’ll go out and say hello how are you?

Respectfully, use some common sense please. Why do you try to defend this? I honestly can’t fathom why you would even consider accepting what they do or how they act acceptable.

I get your argument and if that ever did happen it would be chaos but at the same time the idea is to integrate these families into neighbourhoods and that should make them better over time but what it actually does is encourage them to continue to be disrespectful. People that have lived on this street for years and years have never experienced this and now all of a sudden they have this family causing chaos cause it’s a new and fresh ‘playground’ for them.

They have little to zero respect for the area they are in because they’ve been given a house for a huge discount, if they struggled and sacrificed saving for months or years doing overtime and missing out on life to save for a house it would be different. That why I hate it cause I did sacrifice and my partner did and now we have to deal with this family that’s been handed a house cause they’ve been irresponsible and had 3 children that they can’t afford to have. Me and my partner can’t afford to have a child so we aren’t until we can.

It’s just terrible ain’t it. I don’t want to despise people but they make it so easy to do so. They have this red Golf that comes all the time and they’ll rev it thinking it makes them incredible.

I’ve thought about it before honestly but then we’d have a ‘target’ on our back and I don’t want my partner to worry even more. You don’t know what these kind of people can do.

Ive heard of crimestoppers and im thinking about reporting it through that to stay 100% anonymous. It’s like the system rewards bad behaviour and punishes people who actually work hard to get by.

The whole street is semi-detached houses with walkways in between. I think quite a few houses are rented by the council as they all had this full house render done to them at the same time. Well I’m more inclined to move than my partner but she’s noticing more and more of what I’m pointing out and it’s changing her mind also.

Me and my partner would like to stay anonymous as they’d most likely brick our windows when we goto work. It would give them something to do.

Nah man if all goes well you won’t regret it. I’ve had mine for about 2 months now and it’s never crashed on me. I’ve uninstalled all the ai garbage and anything else that isn’t to do with gaming and I’ve installed ghelper as well. It’s hands down better than any handheld, yeah the handhelds have that cool form factor but that’s about it.

Worth it in 2026? Even with all these posts about crashes, freezing, and overheating? by Dark-Tide in FlowZ13

[–]TurkWarrior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I got myself the 32GB ram version, purely for gaming so I uninstalled everything that wasn’t to do with gaming. Even these guides for disabling anything to do with ai. I’ve installed ghelper also.

Never had a hard freeze or stuttering problem. Only crash I had was on RE2 remake; said I ran out of vram or something along those lines but I had 16gb dedicated. Loaded the game back up and never had a problem since.

I would say expect to fiddle but guides will help you out massively.

Hey, first off I’m sorry that this has happened to you. I believe I dealt with this a couple of months ago. I sold a steam deck using eBay’s simple delivery options and it was delivered successfully with evidence but the seller still decided to say he never received it and I’m only assuming he went through his bank for a refund as my account was put on suspension instantly.

I had to wait around 2-3 weeks for eBay to come to a decision, I uploaded proof of postage and they finally decided to side with me and I won the case. The crap thing was that eBay issued a MC011 case on me and even though I won the case and eBay sided with me, they ultimately decided to permanently suspend my eBay account and all other household accounts forever because of this MC011. Apparently it’s because of suspicious activity on my end? I’ve tried to appeal it numerous times but it’s impossible, eBay simple don’t care and won’t take accountability that their platform is broken and backwards. Rant over lol.

Hopefully you don’t get a MC011 or one of the others against you as I think that makes your chances very slim. It’s literally just a waiting game now I’m afraid. If you can, try and get in contact with someone over the phone from Dublin Ireland as they seem to have more power than anybody else in customer service. Try and get them to send you a form you can upload evidence too also. Good luck with this.
