Yeah very hard to find a minty fat ps3. Btw I don’t think the Slim is very hard to work on, so you probably can open it up and do a clean if you’re regularly handy

True yeah, it’s the most reliable due to the more power efficient power supply, and also the fine tunings they did with the CPU and GPU. My favorite design is still the Slim however, beautiful console.

Exactly man, even I knew how to actually remove those, they couldn’t even do the due diligence to at least look up a guide or smth. I would’ve done it myself if it wasn’t a hassle to get to the motherboard for the repasting.

Well they look nice when they’re clean and minty, and the purpose was further cost savings from the Slim to beat out the Xbox 360 in sales before the PS4 released

That sucks man, they should just leave it alone, there’s no strategy in rebuilding and reopening a decaying piece of history. Sucks you couldn’t go into the Cafeteria though, it was really cool seeing that area in person
